Revelation 19 — seen whole

3.12 Revelation 19 — The Two Suppers and the Rider on the White Horse
Heaven’s Hallelujah chorus — the only chapter where “Alleluia” appears in the New Testament, four times, over ’s fall — and “the marriage of the is come, and his wife hath made herself ready… arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints” (19:7–8): the wedding the parables promised (; 25), the New Jerusalem the bride (21:2, 9–10), the guests the redeemed. Then heaven opens: the white horse and its Rider — “Faithful and True… his eyes were as a flame of fire… clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.” The armies of heaven follow; the sharp sword of His mouth (the Word that made worlds, now unmaking rebellion); “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” on vesture and thigh. The first seal’s white horse finds its antitype; the gospel that rode out conquering returns as the Conqueror.
Two suppers close the chapter — the marriage supper of the , and the “supper of the great God” for the fowls (Eze 39’s carrion feast): every human being eats at one table or becomes the other. The and the false prophet — the two powers of chapter 13, the whole church-state counterfeit — are “cast alive into a lake of fire,” and “the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse”: the second coming ends the war Revelation 12 began — for a thousand years.
