Who we are

Daniel and Revelation is operated by Power of the Lamb, which is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: support@phototheologybible.com.

What we collect and why

  • Account data — email address, authentication identifiers (including Google sign-in identifiers) and login timestamps. Used to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
  • Entitlement data — which plan you hold, its status and renewal dates. Used to unlock Full Access features. Legal basis: contract.
  • Study activity — chapters and verses you open, progress markers and requests for study notes or narration. Used to provide the service, cache generated material and improve it. Legal basis: contract and our legitimate interest in improving the product.
  • Support messages — what you send us. Used to answer you. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interest.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and error logs. Used for security, fraud and abuse prevention and debugging. Legal basis: legitimate interest and legal obligation.

We do not see or store your card details. Payment data is collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor.

Who we share it with

  • Hosting, database and authentication providers that run the app on our behalf, and the AI provider that generates study notes and narration from the text of a verse or chapter (prompts are limited to Scripture references and study context).
  • Stripe, our payment processor, for checkout, subscription management, payments and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Authorities where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

Retention

Account and entitlement records are kept while your account is open and for up to seven years afterwards where tax or accounting law requires it. Study activity and logs are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised. Delete your account at any time by emailing us.

Your rights

Subject to your local law, you can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, or provide it in a portable form, and you can withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email support@phototheologybible.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your supervisory authority.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

Security

We use encryption in transit, row-level access controls scoped to your account, and server-side checks on every paid feature. No system is perfectly secure, but we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

Cookies and storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your reading progress and secure form submissions. We do not use advertising cookies. Clearing your browser storage signs you out and clears local progress.
